Figure 11. Now we need to take a moment to discuss new parts. There are a LOT of parts to be purchased for an automatic transmission rebuild. The kit purchased came from TruTech Transmission, and is the Raybestos Blue Plate kit. It included all the parts in the two photos to the left. A stock stall torque converter was also purchased. As the build progesses, more parts will be purchased as needed. The kit includes seals, bushings, clutches and steels, and a huge number of parts for the unit.
