Figure 13. The ring gear mounted on the carrier. The bolts are torqued to 55ft lbs in two steps. The first step was to 25ft lbs in a criss cross pattern, then continuing the pattern, torqued to 55ft lbs.

Figure 15. The outer pinion bearing race has been installed using the appropriate bearing driver. We used a cheap set we found on Amazon, worked great, and was even cheaper than the Harbor Freight bearing driver set. We will not drive in the inner race at this time, as we will use a set up race until the clearances are set, then the permanent race will be driven in.
